Praise God for Sharnbrook CU and pray for them as they prepare for an event on the 19th March titled, ''Has Science killed God?'' Please pray for God to speak faithfully, relevantly and passionately through the speaker and for many students to come along!

Thank God for a student at a Sixth Form in Norwich who is hoping to start a Christian Union. Pray that the Lord would go before her and open doors, bringing other believers along. Pray for opportunities as she has a heart to share the Good News with the students around her.

Thank God for Brockenhurst College Christian Union and pray for the College debate, ''Is Christianity relevant for today's society?' Please pray for those Christians in the debate to speak with truth, love and respect and for great conversations to be had! Pray also that God would rise up new CU leaders as they changeover!

Praise God for Joseph - A Christian Union College Worker in North Wales. Thank God for the many opportunities he had to share God's love through CUs at Christmas, including the rap's performed! Pray for other students he has contact with to want to join CU and find out more!

Thank God for Xaverian College CU and the great chats had after Christmas assemblies. Pray as they plan for Valentines events, they hope to share God's love at the College and give people Mark's Gospels!

Please pray for Jess, still hoping to see a CU started at her Sixth Form College. Praise God for the College Chaplain who is behind the idea and meeting her weekly. Pray for encouraging meetings and for more Christians to get!

Thank God for Richmond College CUs Christmas Concert and a great turn up. Praise God that everyone that came took a Gospel - pray that students will read them and want to know more!

Thank God for Jessica and pray for her as she seeks to start a CU in her Sixth Form College. Pray that the vice-principal would respond warmly to her request and that she would find other Christians who would like to be involved!

Please pray for Graveney CU as they plan and head towards their Christmas Outreach. Pray for good conversations and for people to take away Gospels - pray they would come to know Jesus through them!

Praise God for Luton College CU and their ''Grill a Christian, Stretch a Muslim'' events through InterFaith week. Pray that the seeds planted would become fruitful! Pray on as they plan for and run Christmas Outreach events on the week starting 14th Dec! Pray for great conversations, Gospels to be taken and Christians to be full of courage in joyfully sharing the Good News!

Thank God for a student at St Helen's College who is keen to start a CU, thank the Lord also for a great Chaplain there who is hoping to support her. Pray for many student's to come to their annual Christmas Carol event, pray it would be a great atmosphere and that people would come and find peace with God through Jesus!

Praise the Lord for the lively CU at Richmond College. The Lord has been adding to their number and they are very thankful for a wonderful Concert they have just had. They would love prayer as they hold a Christmas Concert in December, pray for student's to come, hear God speak to them - and that many would take away Gospels to seek out God!

Please pray for Rochester Grammar School CU as they hope to run a Christmas Party. Pray it would be a great time and that lots of their friends would attend. Please also pray for new members and the existing one's to be strengthened!

Praise God for two female students keen to run a CU at a College in the Midlands! Pray that God would sustain and bless their efforts and that God would add to their number!

Praise God for Ben Kessell hoping to start a CU at Reaseheath College. 7 students signed up for CU at Freshers Fayre! Please pray that they would come along to the first meeting and love being part of Christian Union. Pray that CU would be a fun and great place for students to mature together in Jesus and share their faith with friends.

Praise God for Festive's new Ministry Assistant - Karen Jones! Pray that God would grow Karen's love for Jesus as she works with Sixth Form's and Colleges in the Sussex area. Pray also for open doors so that Karen can be a blessing and encouragement to CUs local to her!

Please pray for Brighton College CU as it kicks off this term after the initial ''Grill a Christian'' event. Thank God for the Christian student's that attend Brighton College, please pray that they would come along and love being an active part of CU. Pray also for the return of a questioning group of student's from last term - that God would answer their questions and bring them to Himself!

Thank God for Alison, Chaplain at South Sefton Sixth Form College. She would love prayer to: feel the Holy Spirit guiding her and her colleague in their work at the College and she would love you to pray that students would join the newly established CU! Please pray that the CU there would be a great thing to be a part of and that many students would explore Christianity!

Please pray for students who are moving into Colleges/Sixth Forms in September. For believers: please pray that those Christian students would be strongly led to love Jesus at College and join a CU. Pray that they would not be led into all kinds of temptation but show their mates how wonderful life in Christ is. Pray that they would strengthen weak CUs and that God would use them powerfully! For Unbelieving students: Please pray for God's hand to guide them to Christian friends and staff, pray that they would attend CU events and come to know Jesus and the freedom He gives!

Thank God for a small CU at Warwickshire College. Pray that God would sustain that Christian Union and that more Christian students would be added to their number!

London Colleges: Festive is unaware of Christian Unions or ministry operating within many of the London Colleges. Praise God for ministers such as Steve, Chris, Andrew, Hany and others who are investigating ways to support ministry with students in colleges near them! London Colleges naturally have very tight security and it is often hard even to get to meet with Christian Students and Staff who would value support. Please pray that God would open doors in a wonderful way.

Please pray for Rachael and the CU at Burgess Hill School for girls. They would like prayer for their exams and the stress that comes with them - that they would keep their eyes on Jesus throughout! Please pray that they would come back together after half-term for some CU planning for next year. They would like prayer and guidance as they run a CU for yrs 7 - 13 with little experience, they are seeking God to give them the skills and gifts needed to re-start the CU!

Please pray for a Christian Union to form again in Mid-Cheshire college after two barren years. That the Christian students in the college at the moment will be inspired to get together and that new students coming in September will be hungry to share fellowship and to reach out in mission. Also a prayer of thanks for the support from the local parish church (St John’s) and the enthusiasm of their staff to work with and support college students. Pray also for the well attended student café they run in the church each Monday.

Please pray for Grantham College and New College Stamford as they deal with testing times - on a financial level and with government changes to education policy in FE. Thank God for CUs in both Colleges, pray as they are both small and fragile. Please pray that the Lord would revitalise them and that the CUs would seek practical ways to grow together. Pray for key members who have been off sick! Pray for Peter Weeks, Chaplain to both Colleges, that he would be available for pastoral care at a stressful exam-packed time yet would also see some major breakthroughs in Initiatives he is organising with his broader Chaplaincy work.

PRAISE GOD for a student who committed her life to Christ through a Youth Alpha group run by Sixth Formers at Cardinal Newman School. Please pray for her as she starts her new life with Christ, that she would be filled with the joy of Grace, that she would find a good Church that will help her grow and build those necesary foundations and that she would be passionate to glorify her Saviour! Pray for the YA group as they now become a Christian Union, pray that God would guide them to the right Bible Study and that they would all grow and hear Him through His word, continuing to meet in the busiest term!

Please pray for Further Education Colleges at this testing financial time. As seen on the news, many are feeling the strain of the current economic situation as the Government have to re-think funds. Please pray that the Lord would direct the Government to wise and loving decisions. Please pray for the Staff at Colleges suffering, that they would know God's peace and seek Him at this time. Pray that God would move powerfully to provide for these institutions and that the level of education and care for both Staff and Students would not change. Please pray for the nationwide Church and FESTIVE - as we seek the Lord for the best way we can support FE Colleges and all involved in this situation.

Thank our Amazing Heavenly Father for opening opportunities at Bede College. Please pray for Jenny & Michael - 2 Christian students soon to attend the College. Pray for Matt Oliver (UCCF) as he encourages them to start a CU and pray he'll be able to support them in person! Pray for more students to unite in the vision. Also, for Andy (YFC) and a local lady in dialogue with the College regarding a Chaplaincy position!

Thank God for an extremely blessed Easter outreach at Sussex Downs College Lewes! Praise God for Christian students usually unable to attend CU - joining forces and manning the cake and gospel stand! Also thank God for all the CU and conversations had, cakes eaten, 47 Gospels taken, relationships made and Peter sharing a slot on Grace. Pray that anyone interested would come to CU meetings and that existing non Christian CU members would come to have a relationship with Jesus.

At present there is no CU at Oaklands College, although there are several Christian Staff members. Please pray that God would plant the vision for an active Christian witness in someone's heart, and that the barriers against a CU at the College would be broken down.

Please praise God for Christopher McKirgan at Weston-Super-Mare College, he has found a small group of believers who would like to seek permission to start a CU! Pray that God would unite the group and motivate them to get this going - pray also that the College would be positive and allow a CU to form!

Please pray for Amy at Bridgewater College CU - now 2 strong. Pray for them to continue to seek God when it's hard and for a renewed sense of passion amongst them and ex-members. Pray as she meets the other Christian Students - that God would rekindle a flame in their hearts to meet and plan a great new term!

Please thank God & pray for all who have attended Cardinal Newman's 'Youth Alpha' course - especially some non-Christians: Chloe, Katie, Milly & Beth. The leaders would like prayer for more friends to come; advertising to be more effective, for them to speak the truth & for God to sew seeds that will have a long lasting impact on the School & students.

Please pray for Brighton College Prep School and thank God for Christian Teacher John Prideax's 30 years of serving both School and Students. Please pray for the group he runs on a Monday as he leaves and a new Teacher helps to run the group. Please also pray that God would guide and provide the right person to come and help at the Club, sharing the Gospel with the students and engaging with them!

Please pray for Christian Unions up and down the Country as they think through what to do at Easter. Pray that God would give CU leaders courage and passion in wanting to share the Gospel and that they would continue meeting after the break.

Please pray for Grantham CU. Thank God for 6 regulars and pray they'll continue to grow together and become more student led! Please pray as they have an outreach focus over Lent, including some visiting speakers - that students and staff will be drawn to the CU and want to join a Free:life course to explore more! Praise God for using this group and sustaining them!

Thank God for Stamford CU and their Lent outreach! Please pray for 5 students who the CU are following up - pray that the Holy Spirit will help them join an exploring Christianity group! Praise Jesus for using such small groups like Stamford for His glory and pray He will strengthen and add to Stamford CU

Please pray for North Warwickshire and Hinckley College after a major fire on it's Nuneton site! Though upsetting and disruptive, Chaplain Naomi Nixon reports that there is a real sense of gratitude that the fire was 30 mins after people had left the building. Pray for the contractors who are working speedily to restore the building and for students and staff - as they camp around them! Please also pray for the Principal, Senior Management and Governors as they lead the College. Pray too for God's richest blessing on Naomi as she goes about her work in the College.

Please pray for Coleg Glan Hafran College as five Christian students seek to start a CU there. Thank God for the College and pray for wisdom as the students seek permission and direction!

Praise God for a newly established Chaplaincy team at Riverside College! Thank God for the fantastic opportunity they have and pray for the team as they seek to start a CU. Also pray for wisdom and guidance as the College is located across 3 sites!

Praise God for FREE Gospels given out to Sixth Formers at Blatchington Mill, Hove. Pray that they would meet Jesus as they read them! Pray for Carl & Lizzi who run the club there - and for vision as they try to take it forward!

Thank God for 5 students attending Christianity Explored at Brighton College. Pray that God would give them faith in Jesus! Pray for Lizzi leading the group and thank God for John Prideax, a Christian Teacher who has served the lunchtime group for years.

Please pray for Oaklands College where there is no longer a Christian Union on campus. Pray for Cathy who has a heart to see one started, that God would show her the way forward. Praise God for the Christian Staff there, pray that with Cathy, they would be excited to see a CU begun!

'Hot Potatoes' started '09 with 46 students! Praise God for blessing these lunchtimes and pray for Ben, Paul and Nadine as they give powerful talks about The Cross, abortion and more. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would move students to a Christianity Explained course after half-term.

Please pray for Colleges and Sixth Forms local to you. Pray that God would help these CUs to be places of faith, unity and witness. Pray as they make new-term plans that they would keep Jesus at the centre and be bold in worship and witness where they study!

Please pray for Bridgewater College CU. They're a smaller group this year as many of the CU left College! Pray that God would guide them in what to do this term and as they seek ideas for making themselves known on Campus.

Praise God for Stamford CU, small in number but big in faith. They're reading Jesus In College together and would like Prayer for a Mission week in pipelines using FREE Gospel project over Lent. Pray that God uses the students to head up and powerfully share the Good News!

Pray for Grantham CU as they think up outreach ideas into the College, pray for boldness and Gods strength! Thank God that they are a missional CU growing in unity and supporting each other.

Chaplain Peter Weeks has been encouraged by the support of ideas, skills and time from local Churches. This has helped him in his busy job as Chaplain to Grantham and Stamford College & will hopefully enable him to start a Youth Alpha and football Club next yr.
